The Association Macedonian Multiethnic Culinary Chefs (MMCC) joined South East European University’s USAID and LCIF Children with Visual Impairments Project in an effort to provide better social inclusion and education opportunities for children with visual impairments (CwVI).
On Monday, February 27th, the project team together with members of the Association will organized a cooking workshop for children of the state school for visually impaired children in Skopje “Dimitar Vlahov”, from 9 – 13h. Over 40 children were actively involved, assisted in the cooking and serve the food for the guests of the event, parents and visitors.
The event was also supported by company Duni and Restaurant Austrian Palace.
The CVI were very excited about this event and said that they would be more than happy it could be organized more often.
(The USAID and LCIF Children with visual impairments project (CwVIP) is 5 year project implemented by the South East European University (SEEU), and funded by the US Agency for International Development (USAID) and Lions Clubs International Foundation (LCIF).
