Creative workshop for visually impaired children, April 12

Classes are regularly held at all Project Resource Centers for visually impaired children, according to the weekly schedule. A total of 50 teaching classes were held at the four Resource Centers in Veles, Shtip, Tetovo and Bitola, in addition to those held at the school for the blind in Skopje.

A weekly highlight is watching the adapted audio-phonemic story “Snow White and the seven Dwarfs” with visually impaired students using the smartboard. Children were then retelling the story with the help of the special educators. Then, the children created a puzzle by connecting pieces that was previously prepared for them, depicting characters and actions from the story. In the end, using the smartboard, they painted the whole puzzle with various colors.
