“Museum in a luggage” – Project activity in Bitola

Today, on December 22nd, 2016 the USAID and LCIF Children with Visual Impairments Project (CwVIP) was involved on a workshop titled “Museum in a luggage” in Bitola, initiated by the City Museum of Bitola, the Resource Center with Visually Impaired Children of elementary school ‘Trifun Panovski’, the Museum of Sarajevo and Knjazevac, the Institute for rehabilitation of children with speaking and hearing impairments Koco Racin – Bitola.

During this occasion a Memorandum of Understanding was signed between the CwVIP and the City Museum of Bitola that includes a number of activities and content for visually impaired persons from Bitola, workshops for children attending the Resource Center in order to better understand the cultural heritage through various resources that the Resource Center offers. Also different materials in Braille will be printed, as well as professional assistance from the special educators of the Resource Center Bitola.
